Why should I take out life insurance as a young adult?

Life insurance can help protect the people you care about, no matter what age you are.

Some young adults have family that rely on them financially. Or they might have a mortgage that their partner wouldn’t be able to pay on their own. According to our research, almost a third of UK adults say they would have to sell the family home if their partner died*.

Tesco Life Insurance helps give your loved ones some financial support after you’re gone. It pays out a cash lump sum if:

  • you die during the length of the policy - known as the termyou die during the length of the policy - known as the term
  • oror
