                    Gadget insurance FAQs

Your phone isn’t covered as standard with Tesco Travel Insurance. You’ll need to add Gadget Cover to your policy if you want to include your phone or other mobile devices.

Accidental damage is sudden, unexpected damage - for example, dropping your phone. You won’t be covered for wear and tear or cosmetic damage, like dents and scratches.

If you leave items unattended, they aren’t usually covered by gadget insurance. Always keep your gadgets on you or safely locked away.

To make a claim, you should follow the process set out in the policy booklet. For example, you’ll need to provide proof of purchase - like a receipt or order confirmation - for each device you intend to claim for.
