What is vetfone?

Vetfone is a pet helpline included with all Tesco Pet Insurance policies. It’s available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And it’s based in the UK.

If you have a question about your pet's health, behaviour or diet, you can contact vetfone through the Tesco Pet Portal - by phone, live chat or video call. You'll talk to qualified veterinary nurses, and if needed, a vet might call you back.

You can use the pet helpline for everyday worries and unexpected concerns. From bee stings or cut paws to something your pet maybe shouldn’t have eaten. It could help to reassure you and might save you a trip to the vet.

Talking to an expert can also help you decide what to do next and whether your pet needs to see a vet. And, as a Tesco Pet Insurance customer, you can use vetfone whenever you need it, at no extra cost.

Vetfone is provided by Vetsdirect Ltd.
